Anyone who has completed 12th standard (Plus Two) or above is eligible to start studying for CMA USA. You will need a bachelor's degree and two years of relevant work experience to become a full CMA member — but you can begin and complete exams before meeting these requirements.
CMA USA consists of two parts. With focused preparation, you can complete both parts in 9–12 months. Some students complete it alongside their degree in 1–2 years. There is no fixed timeline — you study at your own pace.
Fresh CMA qualifiers typically start at ₹4–6 LPA. With 2–5 years of experience, salaries range from ₹8–18 LPA. Senior roles like Financial Controller or CFO can command ₹20–50 LPA+. Globally, the IMA 2023 survey shows CMA holders earn 58% more than non-certified peers.
